Do you supply a technician, or just the equipment?
Both, and for most events the crew is the part that matters. Our crew stays on site from the first truck through load-out rather than dropping equipment and leaving you to run it: gear nobody is watching is gear that fails quietly in front of an audience. Which venues and areas do you cover?
We work throughout the tri-state area from our shop in Glen Cove, with an affiliate network for jobs further afield. After 38 years there are not many rooms in the New York metropolitan region we have not loaded into. Areas we serve lists the towns we are asked about most.
Will someone look at the room before the event?
For anything past a simple setup, walking the room first is what makes a quote accurate and a load-in uneventful: power, access, ceiling height, sightlines and where the sun lands at four o'clock all change the answer. The site survey sets out what gets checked and why.
Can you run a hybrid or virtual event?
Yes. In-person, virtual and hybrid are all routine, and the hard part is rarely the streaming: it is making the remote audience feel like participants rather than spectators. Running a hybrid annual meeting covers the decisions that decide which one you get.
Projection or LED?
It depends on how much light is in the room and how wide the seating fans out, not on which is newer. A projector in a bright room is a compromise everybody in the back row can see. Projection or LED goes through how to tell which your room can support.
Is the equipment yours, or sub-rented?
Ours, for the most part. Our Long Island warehouse carries current digital audio-visual equipment across the full range of event production, which is what lets a plan change late in the week without a scramble. What to rent and what to hire covers how that usually gets split.
What do you need from us to put a quote together?
